Wilson was raised from Rochester, Minnesota. She was the mother of two IBM executives, Wilson moved to Colorado at the age of nine. She completed her studies at Fairview High School. The year was 1981 when she earned an education in business and fashion in Colorado’s University of Colorado Boulder.
