The INSIDER Summary:

  • Lingerie model Sarah Stage posted nude photos to Instagram while six months pregnant.
  • Stage's bump is barely visible in the photo.
  • The photos come just after Stage was criticized for posting a video of herself doing crunches while pregnant.
  • Some people who commented on the nude photos questioned the health of her baby, while others defended Stage by saying that a small bump is natural for her.
  • It's important to remember that every woman carries differently, and the size of a baby bump isn't always an indication of how healthy that baby is.

Sarah Stage, the lingerie model who has become known as the "six-pack mom," is in the limelight yet again after posting two nude photos on her Instagram, revealing that she'll be giving birth to a boy.

Stage β€” who is six months pregnant with her second child β€” recently faced criticism for posting a video of herself doing crunches while pregnant, an exercise that many commentors claimed was unsafe for a pregnant woman to do.

In the caption for the above Instagram photo, Stage highlighted her excitement at finding out that she's having a boy. Many of her commentors, however, focused on the fact that Stage's bump is barely visible, despite the fact that she's six months pregnant.

Commentors asked "where is the baby," and questioned the health of Stage's unborn child.

"I don't see why a woman wouldn't want a baby belly, this is disgusting. I've heard it's fine but I still don't think it's healthy. Too obsessed. I can't even," one commentor said.

Oh sweet baby kicking up your heels πŸ‘£it is our little secret that only I can feel 😊 I look forward to your birth when I can kiss your skin πŸ’‹but for now I will just smile, as I feel you play within πŸ‘ΆπŸ» Pic: @von_jackson #6monthspregnant LINK IN BIO πŸ‘†πŸΌ

Other fans came to Stage's defense, claiming that stomach size doesn't matter.

"Wow people are so mean! if you actually know her you'd know that she doesn't show until the very last moments, it's natural for her," one wrote.

"She has another baby and it looks fine to me and it's adorable," another wrote. "Stomach size during pregnancy means nothing."

This isn't the first time that Stage has been criticized for a near-invisible baby bump. While pregnant with her first child, Stage posted a photo of her six-pack, which went viral and earned her plenty of haters as well as her "six-pack mom" nickname.

During her first pregnancy, Stage credited her toned bump to the fact that she was in shape when she became pregnant. It's also clear that she continues to exercise even while she's expecting, which can help minimize weight gain.

What's most important to keep in mind is that every woman carries differently. While women often face criticism for having a bump that's deemed too big or too small, this is often beyond their control and isn't necessarily an indication of how healthy or unhealthy a baby is.

Stage, for example, gave birth to a healthy, nine-pound baby boy back in 2015.

A representative for Sarah Stage did not respond to INSIDER's request for comment.
